The Salvation Army offers the opportunity to use your professional skills and expertise to make a real difference in the lives of people who need help most.What the role looks like The Salvation Army works as one team with a person centred, safe and coordinated approach to service delivery to ensure the best outcomes for all who seek our assistance.The position is responsible and accountable for supporting the delivery to women and their accompanying children affected by domestic and family abuse and/or experiencing homelessness to achieve housing stability, improve social inclusion and be equipped for participation in the wider community.Those activities include;Support the case management team in the ongoing implementation of case management plans and create a therapeutic environment with the crisis accommodation setting.Work within a client focused, trauma informed frameworkRespond to emergency situationsBuild effective relationships with clients that encourage self-determination and participation and uphold the principles of the National Family Violence Model of CareAdhere to the Family Violence Stream vision, mission and values and that of TSA and contributes to a collaborative approach within the team.We have multiple casual Family Support Worker roles based in Karratha.
