About the Position We are looking to welcome a Family Support Practitioner to deliver an outreach model of family case-management programs to families, caregivers, kids, and young people.
Full time or part time opportunity (0.8FTE - 1.0FTE). Position government funded until 30 June 2027 with possible extension. Level 4 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is $85,127 – $91,588 + Super. Opportunity for Level 5 based on experience. Key Responsibilities: Deliver an outreach model of complex family case-management programs to families and kids. Engage families and develop case plans which address unmet needs and child protection concerns. Work with other professionals and agencies utilising an ecological model. About You A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services). Experience providing case-management and therapeutic services to families, caregivers, young people, and children in a child protection framework. Cultural awareness and an understanding of how to communicate and work effectively with families from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Other Requirements Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption. Current driver's licence. Legally able to work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
