A place to make a difference: In this part-time, maximum-term position until February 2026, you'll work 9 days per fortnight, within normal business hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Based in Gold Coast, you'll provide both refuge and outreach short term case management support to women and children experiencing Domestic and Family Violence and/or homelessness because of DFV.
As part of our DFV team, you'll report to Team Leader, Sylvia Planing.
You will make a difference by: Providing immediate support to women and children impacted by DFVConducting risk assessments where DFV is identifiedDeveloping strong networks and referral pathways to support desired outcomesCollecting and recording information for the purpose of accountability, evaluation, and reportingA place to feel valued: You're a passionate and confident DFV specialist, with strong knowledge of domestic and family violence and how it impacts families and communities.

Bringing your best every day means having: Experience working with women, children and young people who have experienced domestic and family violenceKnowledge of best practice, professional standards, and relevant research in the field of domestic and family violenceDemonstrated understanding of the ways in which cultural contexts influence practice approachesA Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Services Qualification and/or significant experience working in a similar serviceIt is a genuine requirement of this position that it be filled by a woman as permitted in sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act, 1991.
