Cafs is a value driven organisation, which means we use our values to hold ourselves to account in how we work together and how we serve our clients OUR OPPORTUNITY The Family Safety Practitioner works collaboratively and in conjunction with the Intake & Assessment practitioner(s), Men's Behaviour Change Facilitators and Men's Behaviour Change Practitioners to enhance safety for impacted family members through joint risk assessment and management, and supporting their connection to specialist victim / survivor support services.
ABOUT YOU We are currently seeking an experienced Family Safety Practitioner to join our Family Safety Team.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working within a Men's Behaviour Change program and/or supporting impacted family members.
You will be able to; Prepare the partner and any other impacted family members for the participation of the participant in a program, including by providing verbal and written information about the content, the approach of the program and all relevant procedures Build strong and trusted relationships with the affected family members of men undertaking the MBCP, provide referral support, information, safety planning and referral to specialist victim/survivor services Maintain current knowledge of family violence related legislation, regulations, theories and frameworks For more information please review the position description on our website.
