Help young Australians to improve their long-term educational outcomesPermanent full-time position based in Western AustraliaFlexible work arrangements to give you more balance, including hybrid workingAbout the role Our Learning for Life program provides emotional, practical and financial support to help children and young people experiencing disadvantage with their education. Our support starts in the early years of learning development and continues through primary and high school. As part of the Learning for Life team, the Remote Family Partnership Coordinator works within Western Australia to support geographically dispersed Learning for Life families, using referrals, links to programs and community relationships to support strong school attendance, achievement and post school pathways.
As a Family Partnership Coordinator, you will:
Take a family-centred approach, building partnerships with Learning for Life familiesSupport families to engage with The Smith Family's suite of educational programs.Complete administrative tasks and data entry to help plan your day and focus your effortsEngage with community organisations, linking families to services, information and supportContribute as a valued member of a local Learning for Life Team, and collaborate with the broader organisationFocus on personal and professional growth including on-the-job skill development and regular coaching with your leader.Please note: Whilst this role supports students and families, it's important to note that such support is via a combination of phone and email communication with primary contacts. As this role is focused on supporting geographically dispersed families, it is unusual to have face-to-face contact with Learning for Life students or families.
