Our support starts in the early years of learning development and continues through primary and high school.As part of the Learning for Life team, the Family Partnership Coordinator works with families in the Playford, SA community, using referrals, links to programs and community relationships to support strong school attendance, achievement and post school pathways.As a Family Partnership Coordinator, you will:Take a family-centred approach, building partnerships with Learning for Life familiesConnect with partner schools in the community to support referral to the Learning for Life Program (where applicable) and strong ongoing program participation for Learning for Life familiesComplete administrative tasks and data entry to help plan your day and focus your effortsEngage with community organisations, linking families to services, information and supportContribute as a valued member of a local Learning for Life Team, and collaborate with the broader organisationFocus on personal and professional growth including on-the-job skill development and regular coaching with your leader.About YouFamily Partnership Coordinators come from varied backgrounds with different skills and experience.As well as passion for fostering student success, you will bring:Experience building strong relationships with families and community stakeholders in roles such as a Family Support Worker, Community Engagement Worker, Social Worker or School Liaison OfficerEffective interpersonal and communication skillsCapability to work autonomously; organising your own day, problem solving and adapting when things don't go to planComputer literacy and motivation; completing administrative or data entry tasks and achieving goalsA current driver's licence.Employees are at the centre of The Smith Family's values and operations.
