About the role:
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Family Lawyer with a minimum of 1-3 year post-admission experience. You'll manage a variety of family law cases, including property settlements, children and parenting matters, and complex family disputes. Supported by a team of skilled admin assistants, you'll have the resources you need to succeed and make a meaningful impact in your clients' lives.
Skills and experience required:
Minimum 1+ year PAE in Family Law
Strong knowledge of FCFCOA practice, procedures, and rules
Ability to work independently with a proactive and diligent approach
High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Experience in court appearances and mediations within the FCFCOA
Current QLD Practising Certificate and High Court of Australia Certificate
Familiarity with LEAP legal software
Key responsibilities:
Managing property settlements and divorce applications
Handling children and parenting proceedings
Drafting financial agreements and consent orders
Overseeing complex family law matters and litigation
