Position Title: Family Law Solicitor (5 + years PAE)
POSITION PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Your objective is to contribute your legal expertise in a boutique law firm with a focus on Family Law. The position aims to provide expert legal counsel and representation in various family law matters. Responsibilities include managing cases such as divorce, child custody, and property settlements, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients through strategic guidance and advocacy.

ABOUT YOU
Expertise in Australian family law with 5+ years post-admission experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases independently and collaboratively.
Empathy, discretion, and professionalism in client interactions.
Attention to detail and adherence to ethical standards.
Adaptability and commitment to ongoing professional development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, and spousal support.
Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on their rights and obligations under family law legislation.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings related to family law disputes.
Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, court pleadings, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant case law and legislative changes in family law.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding throughout the legal process.
Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as barristers, counselors, and mediators, to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Advocate for clients' interests with professionalism, integrity, and sensitivity to the emotional complexities of family law matters.
Stay abreast of developments in alternative dispute resolution methods and recommend appropriate strategies to clients.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance legal knowledge and skills in family law practice.

REMUNERATION
The position offers an attractive salary for the right candidate that is commensurate with their experience together with the opportunity to participate in a performance-based bonus structure.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
