The Client : Zylo has teamed up with a well-established and forward-thinking law firm committed to providing exceptional legal services to their clients. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Family Law Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join their team. This role can be based in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast.
Position Summary : As a Family Law Paralegal / Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and property division.
Your responsibilities will include : Conducting legal research and analysis related to family law mattersPreparing and drafting legal documents, such as affidavits, parenting plans, and financial disclosure statementsAssisting with case management, including scheduling hearings, organizing evidence, and managing deadlinesCommunicating effectively with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and court personnelProviding support during mediation or court proceedingsQualifications : Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience (preferred)Strong understanding of family law procedures and regulationsExcellent research, writing, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in legal software and database systemsIf you are a highly motivated and empathetic individual with a passion for family law, we encourage you to apply.
