As a Case Manager with Mission Australia's Coordinated Response Service (CRS), you will play a critical role in providing expert case management to clients with complex needs.

Working alongside WA Police and Child Protection, you will assess incidents of domestic violence, determine risks, and connect women and children with vital services and interventions.
This role offers the chance to work autonomously, exercising judgment and initiative, while ensuring client confidentiality and safety are maintained at all times.

This role covers the weekend of a 7-day service.
You must be available for both Saturday and Sunday.

Your Key Responsibilities Respond to referrals from WA Police in a coordinated way with Police and Child Protective Services and ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Conduct risk assessments and safety planning using the Common Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework to determine risks. Deliver client-centred and culturally responsive case management for individuals with complex needs. Develop and execute tailored case management plans, coordinating referrals to appropriate programs and services. Establish and maintain professional networks to enhance service delivery, while actively participating in sector meetings and information sharing. Provide mentoring and support to team members, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate documentation of client files and case notes, with timely data entry into relevant systems. Engage in regular supervision with the Program Manager and assist in the review and enhancement of service delivery policies and procedures. Requirements for Success Relevant degree with at least one year of experience, an Associate Diploma with relevant experience, or significant experience in a related field. Minimum 12 months of case management experience, including managing complex client needs and maintaining accurate case records. Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, while maintaining boundaries and confidentiality. Strong understanding of Domestic and Family Violence sector, including current legislation and the WA Strategic Plan for Family and Domestic Violence, Child Protection, and the requirements of the Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act, and other key legislative reforms. Demonstrated experience in engaging and working therapeutically with women and children in a variety of settings including refuges. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant case management software. Exceptional time management & organisational skills. Available to work every weekend. Full driver licence with no restrictions. Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
