Do you have a passion for mental health and wellbeing? Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of our patients? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our team and support the work of our General Practitioners while also servicing your own patient load.
Responsibilities: Provide psychological support to patients within the General Practice Clinic setting. Collaborate with General Practitioners to deliver integrated healthcare services. Create and implement tailored treatment plans for patients, fostering positive mental health outcomes. Preferred Requirements: Proven experience in clinical psychology or counselling within a healthcare environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient groups. Relevant qualifications in Psychology and current registration with the relevant professional body. Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based interventions. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support holistic patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field. Current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Training and experience in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT or DBT.
