Families Activity Officer Full time position (76 hours per fortnight)
Two additional public holidays per year
Generous superannuation (up to 16.5%, conditions apply)

Salary range: $83,726 to $88,768 plus super (effective 14 July 2024)
About this position
This role plays a pivotal part assisting with planning, implementing and evaluating a diverse array of lively programs, events and initiatives for children and their families. Guided by the City's Strategic Community Plan and the Community Capacity Development Business Plan, you will actively contribute to creating engaging experiences that foster community involvement and growth.
What we are looking for
Substantial experience working with children and their families across diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Initiative and problem-solving skills.
Strong teamwork skills, with initiative and sound judgment in a small team.
Driver's licence
Cert III in a Children Services or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
Working with Children Check
Current Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
