DescriptionOverhead Crane Operation: Safely operate overhead cranes to transport and load precast concrete panels onto trucks for delivery.
Ensure precise placement and proper handling of materials to prevent damage.Panel Movement: Manoeuvre precast panels from storage areas to the designated loading zones, adhering to all safety protocols and operational procedures.Load Securing: Assist in securing loads on trucks using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure safe transport.Manual Labour Duties: Perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders and assisting with general factory labour such as unloading materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining a clean work environment.Quality Assurance: Conduct routine checks to ensure precast panels meet the required quality standards before they are loaded or dispatched.Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, follow safe work practices, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Collaboration: Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of daily production activities, assisting where needed across various tasks.ProfileExperience: Proven experience as an Overhead Crane Operator, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.Licensing: A Dogging/Basic Rigger ticket is essential.
Additional qualifications such as a Forklift or Scissor Lift license are highly beneficial.Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including ladder work, lifting, and moving materials.
