Factory Assembly Technician

WireCo Australia, one of Australia's largest suppliers of wire and synthetic rope products and components, supplying to the Lifting & Rigging, Maritime, Commercial Fishing, Mining, Oil & Gas and Crane sectors, are looking for the services of a Wire Rope/Chain Production Person to join us at our Northern Gold Coast location.
Duties and responsibilities include chain and wire rope sling manufacture, swaging and splicing, wire rope cutting and forklift operation.
We are looking for a person that possesses a strong work ethic who is reliable and efficient, and is able to self manage. Applicants must have excellent attention to detail as well as possessing the strength for physical labour.
Experience with Australian Standards in relation to lifting equipment, splicing skills, and a Rigger / Dogman's ticket would be considered desirable, but not at all essential as on the job training would be provided. Boilermaker or labourer is also useful.
