Aegis has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Residential Aged Care Facility Manager to provide strong leadership at our Aegis Shoreline Facility, being Aegis' largest Residential Facility with 238 beds. As part of the Aegis executive team, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations and overall management of all aspects of the Facility, while being empowered to manage and influence your own business unit with support from other professional teams.Reporting to the Executive Manager Operations and Marketing, you will:Drive quality in the delivery of all services including care, therapy, hospitality & customer service to ensure excellence is maintained in line with Aegis' vision, mission, and values.Provide leadership and expertise to all areas of operation.Provide high quality support to residents and their families.Oversee all aspects of care service and food services delivery to ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Aegis policies and procedures, and relevant legislation.Manage all material, human and financial resources to ensure their efficient and effective use, including developing and implementing annual business plans and budgets with ongoing management to ensure all targets are achieved.Act as a role model to staff, promoting Aegis' values in everything you do.Lead, coach and direct all human resources functions to ensure the delivery of all services in terms of Aegis expectations and values.Aegis Shoreline is a state-of-the-art Residential Aged Facility situated in a truly unique location, adjacent to the beach and overlooking picturesque Cockburn Sound. The Facility provides resort lifestyle, and quality care and services for up to 238 residents. While working at Aegis, we will provide you with a range of benefits including:Competitive rates of pay.Ongoing training and opportunities for development and career growth.Contributions towards your professional development.Employee discounts at a number of trusted businesses.About You:Proven Residential Aged Care Facility Management experience over an extensive period.Passionate about caring for the aged with the ability to ignite the same in others.At least five years of Aged care facility experience.Exceptional people skills and leadership capabilities.Able to communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders.Strong management skills, being able to proactively lead, coach and develop a diverse workforce.Highly organised with strong planning skills and the ability to manage numerous competing priorities and meet deadlines.Able to identify and manage all associated risks in the aged care setting.Flexible in responding to resident choice and changing resident needs.Able to identify and manage conflict situations effectively.Extensive management/leadership experience in Residential Aged Care, with the ability to influence others to deliver high quality care and customer service.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.Comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, quality management systems and AN-ACC assessment processes.Sound business and financial acumen including knowledge of rosters, budgets and finances.Full Australian working rights and current national police clearance.Please click the "Apply" button if you meet the criteria and want to further your skill set as part of a diverse team of staff dedicated to the care of our elderly.
