Good Shepherd Lodge have been in the heart of the Mackay community since 1974, and we take pride in our role in helping our residents to live life on their own terms and creating a lifestyle they love. We operate two sites: Good Shepherd Lodge in East Mackay and Kerrisdale Gardens in Beaconsfield.
Good Shepherd is a 167-bed facility situated on the east side of Mackay in a residential area and is surrounded by beautiful well-maintained grounds and gardens. All areas of the Lodge have undergone extensive upgrades to present a welcoming and attractive environment.
Kerrisdale Gardens is a 4 storey complex, comprised of a 101 bed care facility, 29 apartments for independent living and 28 villas in an 8-hectare setting of beautiful, well-maintained grounds and gardens.
Two rewarding leadership opportunities are now available as we seek a Facility Manager for each site.
The Role The Facility Manager is a key leadership role in our organisation. You will be responsible for the overall leadership and oversight of care and service delivery to residents. Reporting to the Head of Aged Care, the Facility Manager is responsible for staff management, financial oversight, compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive environment for residents, families, and staff.

That the facility, staff and associated services provide optimal aged care and quality services to residents and maintain a high level of satisfaction.Compliance throughout the facility with Aged Care Standards, legislative/statutory requirements and regulations.Compliance with Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd's Policies and Procedures in conjunction with the Heads of Departments.Operational efficiency of the facility through the utilisation of resources in a viable and sustainable manner including maximising income and occupancy with quality outcomes achieved, in conjunction with the Admissions & Independent Living Manager.The Ideal Candidate To be successful, you will possess the following attributes:
