The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facility Manager or Director of Nursing (DON) to join a large, well-established Aged Care Provider as First In Charge overseeing the operational and clinical care of a large Nursing Home. You will be part of a thriving community of residents in the South West of Sydney, while shaping the future of this facility.
This is a key role that will allow you to work closely with your Care Manager, multiple Care Coordinators, and senior clinical staff to ensure the provision of high-quality care for residents. Using a collaborative approach, you will lead best practice clinical care processes and procedures to minimize risk and maximize resident independence and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong track record in Facility Management, clinical governance, accreditation processes, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of residents.
With a strong clinical structure and regular regional Quality and Business Management support, this fully accredited Home is well supported. A strong work ethic and consistent clinical and operational excellence will be required, and stable Management in this Home is essential, so we are only looking for candidates with demonstrable tenure looking for a long-term role and willing to commit 3+ years.
Key Information
Attractive salary in the region of $160,000 - $175,000 + Superannuation (depending on experience) + KPI-based Bonus
Permanent full-time Monday - Friday role
First In Charge position reporting to the Regional Manager
Fully rostered Home with minimal agency use
Large, well-established Aged Care Provider
Requirements
AHPRA Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Facility Management position - ESSENTIAL.
Demonstrable successful experience with accreditation processes and expert knowledge of the Aged Care Standards.
