ABOUT THE ROLE Due to internal promotion and reporting into the Head of Property Management, a newly defined role has been created to project manage the Group's property network store assets across all brands and facilities when they are complex and /or repeat works are required across multiple locations. Playing a key role within the Property & Store Development function, you will resolve identified risks in electrical, mechanical, structural, HVAC, amenities, plumbing or any other works required to ensure assets are fit for purpose and proactively assist in ensuring problems do not arise in the future. Additionally, you will manage a team of two who are responsible for maintenance scheduling and facilities administration to support the wider team. This hybrid, permanent opportunity will be based in either the Strathpine (Brisbane) or Rhodes (Sydney) office as well as WFH. Responsibilities include: Actively address asset risks, ensuring compliance and safety are a focus of all SRG occupied tenancies, with immediate focus on building covering repairs for SRG occupied tenancies. Drive the timely and effective completion of repairs, by managing, coordinating, and monitoring the facilities management obligations of retail tenancies, support offices and distribution centres including all plant, equipment and services associated of SRG occupied tenancies. Develop scope of works, staging plans, and project timelines applicable for each project including cost estimating and budget tracking to manage spend, including the processing of Purchase Orders and invoices. Consult with project stakeholders on a regular basis and chair project meetings to track progress, risks, opportunities, and reporting. Negotiate with landlords and contractors to achieve safe and commercial outcomes to the business and costing specific to issues that are short-term operational, medium-term tactical or limited strategic in nature. Monitoring and actioning compliance related matters in alignment with the applicable Australian Standards Managing team performance including the establishment of personal development plans. Coach and support the team to create a culture of safety, trust, learning and embedding a growth mindset. ABOUT YOU You will come from a Project and Facilities Management (sometimes known as 'Asset Management') background from within the retail or restaurant chain industry. Known for your impeccable time and project management skills where you have built effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including landlords and specialist experts. You have delivered multiple facilities management related projects across multi-sites from design to delivery. Impeccable communication and influencing skills, allowing you to be both well regarded and effective in moving through milestones to delivery. You are an experienced team leader and renowned for your ability to connect with and coach individuals to uplift capability. WHY JOIN US?
