Facilities & Operations Manager - Shopping Centre

New career opportunity available as Operations Manager working in a shopping centre in Canberra. As Operations Manager, you will manage the day-to-day maintenance activities, participate in operational contract reviews, and work alongside a wider centre management team on ad hoc projects.
Main responsibilities: Contractor management (cleaning and security) and performance management. Overall maintenance and operations management for the centre. Management of purchase orders, invoice management, contractor payments, and Contract Commercial Approval (CCA). Managing efficiencies in energy costs & HVAC. Daily centre inspections must be undertaken prior to the building openings. Any hazards or issues are to be dealt with immediately. Capital works projects across the shopping centre. Working as a team across all risk management strategies. Monthly reporting to the operations management team. Ideal background: Operations Manager/Facilities Manager with 2+ years of experience. Experience in a shopping centre environment (advantageous). Knowledge and experience working across HVAC/Vertical transport. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
