Apply now!Job Description About the Opportunity The Facilities Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of all staff and the uninterrupted operation of client buildings and assets. This role will be responsible for the Coordination and Service Delivery of planned maintenance, capital and minor works across a dedicated client portfolio. With a commitment to excellence, we strive to ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our clients' facilities. What You Will Be Doing Proactively looks for opportunities to solve site user (employee, visitor, guest) problems ranging from occupancy and space utilisation challenges to cleaning and HVAC issues.
Coordination and understanding of the minor and capital works program for minor works, this includes scrutinising the scope of work to accurately describing the proposed work and benefits, risks and budget costs
Assist in project review and annual planning and forecasting process, in addition to the quarterly schedule development, review, business endorsement and approval
Providing support to the Facilities Lead on all issues relating to reporting, minor works and projects
Provide advice and support to facilitate and develop a working relationship to ensure the service is delivered in a collaborative manner
Implement procurement strategies and source suitable suppliers to support program delivery
Control induction and supervision of subcontractors and third parties for the delivery of all works and projects
Provide backup support and assistance across all facilities functions
About You You will have the capability to manage a commercial portfolio, have experience in managing multiple service line contractors, and meeting time, quality, and budget agreements.
Minimum 2 years' experience in Facilities Management
Strong planning and organisational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in meeting client needs within agreed timelines (SLA's)
Experience in hospitality industry/customer service preferred
