Your responsibilities will include: As we embark on an exciting journey of growth, we are seeking an experienced Facilities Officer. You will join a growing National Facilities team and will work closely with our onsite Senior Facilities Coordinator to ensure effective day to day coordination of maintenance activities for our South Coast, purpose-built Maintenance and Logistics facilities.Your responsibilities will include:Supervise and oversee facilities-related site visitors.Induct facilities support vendor personnel and liaise with other stakeholders including Safety, Security and department leads as required.Assist the Senior Facilities Coordinator in all aspects of facility corrective and preventative maintenance and support including planning, tracking facility issues, asset management, cleaning and pest control.Complete minor repairs and maintenance work as required.Respond to facilities issues and coordinate with external support vendors for timely investigation and remediation.Liaise with Procurement to obtain quotes and raise purchase orders.Maintain the Maintenance Management System.Review supplier invoices and verify charges are consistent with contract terms & conditions.Perform other site administration and business support tasks as assigned. About you: This exciting opportunity will suit a highly motivated, team player who is customer-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Experience and competencies – EssentialExperience in a facilities support role.Experience in a warehouse and / or Maintenance facilityAbility to take direction and demonstrate teamwork in the field of facilities management and maintenance.Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal and supplier stakeholders.Intermediate experience and knowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and priority manage conflicting tasks.Experience and competencies - DesirableExperience working in a corporate environment where quality and compliance is non-negotiable. Special Requirements: Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and ideally hold a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
