About this Opportunity Continuing, Full Time (36.25 hours per week) Facilities Management Directorate CQUniversity Mackay Higher Education Worker Level 3 Total Remuneration $71,970 to $80,189 pa (including salary of $60,816 to $67,761* plus 17% superannuation and leave loading) *Junior rates may apply.

Working at CQUniversity You will provide a wide range of general support, maintenance services and trades assistance.
This may include office relocations, setting up of events, delivery of equipment, painting, lock repairs, changing light bulbs, test and tagging, grounds maintenance and minor maintenance and servicing of tools and equipment.
You will be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and be highly capable of planning, organising, problem solving and prioritising your own workload.
You will also be a proactive team member who adheres to strict workplace health and safety requirements when undertaking a variety of maintenance functions.
Position Requirements Open Manual Driver's Licence.
Manual handling and physical activity are inherent requirements for this position.
A suitable level of physical fitness and health is a requirement and must be maintained.
This position is required to work in, or in the vicinity of a 'hearing protection use area'.
Appointee will be required to undergo a baseline audiometric test within two months of commencement and be retested on a two-yearly basis (at no cost to the employee).
Upon cessation of employment with CQUniversity employees will be required to undertake a final audiometric test.
This position may be required to work at multiple campus locations.
Blue Card (Working with Children) check.
Forklift Licence and EWP (desirable).
