This role provides critical support in TMAG's Work Health and Safety (WHS) and facilities risk management, focusing on continuous business improvement and the optimization of TMAG's assets by:
Facilitating and supervising general maintenance of buildings and equipment.Ensuring the effective implementation of facility procedures and protocols.Liaising with external contractors to meet operational, building, and equipment maintenance needs.Monitoring the day-to-day effectiveness of safety, security, and asset management procedures, protocols, and systems.We are a diverse and inclusive workplace that understands the importance of flexibility. Duties: Actively engage in providing suggestions to assist with the development, delivery, and documentation of routine maintenance schedules and tasks.Conduct routine maintenance tasks under the instruction and supervision of the Manager Property and Facilities.Participate in the development and delivery of contractor inductions.Liaise and work with contractors to ensure that routine and ad hoc maintenance requirements are completed to the highest possible standard in line with TMAG's requirements.Be on-call when rostered.Proactively engage with all WHS requirements to ensure the safety of yourself and others.Maintain appropriate records in line with policy and process.Arrange and coordinate site access for staff and contractors.Actively engage with the TMAG facilities helpdesk to assist with the completion and management of tasks, receiving and assigning work orders, completing documentation, and closing out tickets in line with TMAG processes and practices.Provide support for a variety of facilities-based systems, including but not limited to security, fleet, and emergency response programs.Maintain all registers and documentation as required for the safe and efficient operation of TMAG sites.Actively participate in the WHS framework of TMAG and the Department.Minimum Requirements: Evidence of the following must be provided prior to appointment to this role:
A Current Driver's LicenceThe person must continue to satisfy the above essential requirements/qualifications throughout their employment in this role.
Working at heights certification.TMAG will provide the relevant training required to fulfill the duties of this role if the occupant does not hold the above desirable requirements.
