FACILITIES MANAGER
In this role, you will lead your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring seamless and secure facility operations. Responsibilities include overseeing site logistics, security, general maintenance and the internal and external presentation of the facilities. You will also manage administrative tasks related to workflow and ensure all customer services and business requirements are met to high standards. Additionally, you will handle escalations and prioritise urgent business needs in a timely manner.
Responsibilities: Oversee the daily and continuous operation of facilities, ensuring seamless functionality. Serve as a company ambassador, representing the organisation in a professional manner. Lead and contribute to team and stakeholder meetings, fostering effective communication and engagement. Manage client onboarding processes for new customers, contractors and staff members. Provide mentorship and share expertise with both junior and senior staff to promote team development. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations for customer use of the facilities. Collaborate effectively with Service Providers, managing relationships and interactions daily. Oversee maintenance contracts, including routine maintenance for non-critical equipment. Address and mitigate risks. Undertake procurement responsibilities for the organisation and clients as needed. Ensure all required certificates, approvals and other compliance documentation are obtained for facility occupancy. Contribute to developing and managing the site's expense budget. Drive the achievement of expense budget goals within your direct area of responsibility. Support broader financial and operational goals to ensure annual and long-term business objectives are met. Provide leadership that fosters a strong operational and cultural environment within the team. Model and embrace our core values and leadership principles in all aspects of work. Continuously mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Experience: Leading and managing daily operations ensuring smooth functionality. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across corporate and client-focused areas of the facilities. Coordinating logistics, including access for clients, contractors, suppliers and overseeing deliveries. Providing strategic leadership to promote operational excellence among staff. Ensuring teams consistently meet required standards, KPIs, and SLAs Mentoring staff to identify development gaps and offering recommendations for continuous improvement. Leading site teams to prioritise safety and minimise human errors. Managing operational processes and ensuring timely and accurate documentation. Supervising physical security staff, including scheduling, reporting, response, and overall performance. Enhancing maintenance contract services to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Managing vendor and contractor relationships to ensure smooth collaboration. Working closely with internal teams and management to meet business objectives. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards, exceeding local regulations across all facilities. Qualifications and Mandatory experience: Diploma in Facilities Management or related field experience Demonstrated experience in financial administration – OPEX budgets 3 years' experience in Facilities Management Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
