What this opportunity involves: The role primarily exists to provide professional team supervision and leadership for the day-to-day operations of local facilities teams and associated contractors. This is for all facilities associated activities both planned and unplanned within the respective business centre and affiliates centres.
This role is a casual Facilities Manager role based out of Rockhampton.
An Overview of the role: Ensure clear focus on delivering effective and efficient planned and unplanned facilities maintenance services in an industrial environmentEnsure safety management principles and objectives are communicated and initiatives implementedEnsure safety improvements are realised through regular communication and interactions with team and contractorsEnsure safety management systems are implemented and monitored for teamEnsure investigations for incidents are proactively managed and resolutions are achieved within designated timeframesEnsure customer expectations are mutually agreed through engagement with managers and teamDemonstrate personal ownership of safety through proactive risk-based decision makingCommunicate, demonstrate, and ensure commitment to our client's vision and values and operational prioritiesDisplay fairness, build trust and maintain respectful relationships through open lines of communication vertically and horizontallyDefine and delegate work to be done with adequate resources and progress measurementsEnsure team members have clear, current, and measurable goals and objectives and ensure commitment to team KPI'sProvide regular team briefings, 1:1 coaching and individual development plans to enhance team members' performance and raise the bar for the team to a consistent standardSound like the job you are looking for?
