Fleet Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) The Iceman Group of Companies is an Australian-wide business that provides repairs, servicing, and breakdown coverage for the Refrigerated and Trailer Transport Industry. We have a wide range of customers that rely on Iceman Group to quote and repair their fleet. Iceman provides a national approach with workshops across Australia.
As part of our expansion strategy, we are looking for an experienced Facility Manager who has worked in a service-based business – preferably in the motor vehicle/logistics industry.
About the Role: The key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
Developing and strengthening Queensland customer relationships to ensure the continued growth of the business.Researching and identifying commercial opportunities to expand our customer value proposition and client base in Queensland.Identifying ways to improve the Queensland business and performance.Providing leadership and guidance to managers and the overall team to maintain our culture and family values.Ensuring that we keep our team, customers, and suppliers safe by identifying areas where we can improve culture, OHS, and overall safety.Focusing on company procedures and policies and driving employee engagement.Providing clear and transparent communications with staff on upcoming events, announcements, changes to procedures and policies, or other concerns raised.Our Ideal Candidate! You will have the ability to apply your communication and organisational skills to manage two sites with around 60 employees.
In addition to this, you will possess and display the following:
Clear communication and precise directions and expectations to staff.Experience working and reporting directly to the Director(s)/owners of the business.The ability to easily build rapport with managers and the team to improve overall performance and engagement.Negotiation skills and the ability to foster positive customer relationships.Ability to handle complex problems and implement solutions.Ability to identify and implement new ideas and processes that improve employee engagement for safety, procedures, and work culture.Ability to work with various IT platforms to provide the business with relevant and timely information.Able to work across different locations and divisions within the group and collaborate with various stakeholders.What We Can Offer You: Iceman Group prides itself on having a friendly and supportive environment, carrying through the values and culture that was created over 40 years ago.
