The Role Working in a high-performance team within one of our flagship Global Finance clients and reporting to the account's FM Lead, you will be a central point of contact for all facilities functions including PPM, incident response, change management, projects and reporting, with the support of Facilities Coordinators and wider teams across Engineering and Guest Relations.
For the successful candidate, this collaborative and integral position will be a defining role to support the foundations for the client's ongoing success. A typical day may involve: Delivery of efficient and cost-effective FM services across the client portfolio, collaborating with other Facilities Managers as well as base building managers.Building strong client relationships within the portfolio to achieve first class client satisfaction.Overseeing all facilities inspections, supervising repair work and maintenance across all office floors and spaces.Working with the ANZ Regional team and leading the preparation of annual opex and capex budgets for the site.Leadership of a small team – managing work schedules, assigning tasks, mentoring and tracking deadlines.Creating and monitoring environmental health & safety procedures.Overseeing the financial and admin functions – reviewing and approving purchase orders, and monitoring invoicing procedures.Collaborating with the Engineering and Guest Relations teams to evaluate new cost-saving initiatives and sustainability innovations.Monitoring contractor procedures and work carried out to ensure safety standards are upheld, and reviewing all safety documentation and permits.Periodic review of maintenance and service agreements in conjunction with the Procurement team.Maintaining the asset register and raising end of lifecycle requirements.Assisting with regular and ad-hoc reports on any key issues, outcomes and workflow updates.Requirements (ESSENTIAL) – Strong Facilities Manager background and experience within an A-grade corporate office environment.(ESSENTIAL) – Polished, well presented corporate style, with excellent relationship management skills.(PREFERRED) - Experience in commissioning buildings, defect rectification and document reviews.Pro-active "can do" attitude, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.High level competency with MS Office programs.Full working rights in Australia for a permanent position.What's in it for you?
