What you'll do This means we are proposing the creation of a full scope Facilities Manager role that will be accountable for all maintenance, services and contract management for a defined cohort of stores.
As a mid-level leadership role you will be managing a team of internal technicians, proactive services team leaders and teams as well as external service providers.
In this role you will lead approximately 150 team members across the zone.
Responsible for coaching, developing and leading a diverse team of technicians, facilities management professionals, operational team leaders and third party contractors.
End to end financial accountability for Facilities & Maintenance services in the designated group of stores.
Deliver agreed Facilities, Proactive Services & Maintenance Strategies to drive proactive, responsive and efficient services.
Accountable for a safe site for everyone, everyday by implementing and evaluating safe work practices, improving safety.
Undertake routine health checks to ensure compliance, safety and operational expectations are being met.
The Talent Acquisition team will be pausing over the Christmas break from the 23/12/2024 until 6/1/2025 so we encourage you to apply and we will be in contact with you outside of this period.

What you'll bring A minimum of two years experience in a similar role preferably with commercial supermarket experience Able to navigate complex work environments and teams to deliver outcomes Strong leadership experience managing large and diverse teams in multi site environment Previous stakeholder management experience and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships Experience or Knowledge of essential services, refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical systems (highly regarded).
