Deliver facilities and technical services of a commercial office or medical asset Facilities team with great culture and fantastic learning opportunities Inner West Sydney - Camperdown | Land of the Gadigal People We are seeking an innovative Facilities Manager to join our CBRE team responsible for the facilities and technical services of a portfolio of owned assets.
You will be responsible for the efficient, safe, cost-effective operations, capital, compliance and maintenance of all building services.
As the first point of contact, you will deliver superior customer service and develop key tenant stakeholder engagement by providing effective and timely communications to the tenants, stakeholders and clients.
About the role: Accountable for managing the delivery of all capex projects and compliance across your portfolio.
This includes sourcing quotes, providing recommendations and preparing necessary documentation for client approval.For capex projects, ensure appropriate documentation such as SWMS and insurance is in place.
Report and track costing of capex projects.Accountable for managing the delivery of all Facilities Management services; customer liaison and service contractor management across some of the properties.Manage operating expenditure (for some properties), resources, projects, budgeting, produce and present monthly reporting and financial reporting.Ensure risk management, WHS, site safety, audit and inspections are completed and compliant in accordance with the respective lease to actively reduce insurance premiums and liabilities.Manage onsite facilities personnel in accordance with the lease to provide approvals and compliance documentation.Will be required to travel to other sites from time to time (which will be reimbursed).
This will include a minimum annual property inspection for each asset.Ensure orders are issued and invoices processed in the defined time.
A register of invoices, orders and requests for service is to be always maintained.Actively participate in the budgeting process and provide high level advice on non-routine and routine repairs and maintenance budgeting programs.About you: Previous experience in a facilities, property, or related role.Sound working knowledge of all property onsite facilities services, not limited to essential fire safety measures, mechanical services, hydraulic and structural.Contractor management experience within a commercial building environment highly advantageous.Understanding of HSE & ESG in the facilities management industry.Excellent customer service and service delivery skills.Ability to manage several functions and projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.So, what's in it for you?
