But enough about us, let's talk about you As a Facilities Management Officer, you will play a vital role in our City Maintenance team.
This position calls for a highly skilled person to facilitate the delivery of the City's Facilities Management maintenance, minor works, goods and services contracts including contract and performance management of contractors and suppliers.
You will also be required to facilitate the delivery of the preventative maintenance program as well as deliver the minor capital and maintenance projects.
A strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail as well as a positive and professional attitude with the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously is a must.
To be successful in this role you will have: Certificate IV (or above) in Project or Contract Management Current unrestricted C class national driver's license Experience within the building or construction industry, project and contract management Knowledge and experience in the tender, contract management and administration processes Project delivery from inception to completion Experience and expertise in budget planning and delivery and associated work programming Procurement, contracts, contract law and project management and evaluation principles Knowledge of design and construction approval processes, regulatory authorities, procedures, codes and regulations for the delivery of civil and building projects Extensive knowledge and expertise in procurement Well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent written and communication skills Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills Effective decision-making skills Ability to manage and prioritise individual work responsibilities to achieve target outcomes High level of attention to detail Ability to work effectively individually and cooperate with others in a team As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test The finer details This full-time Level 4 position attracts a salary range of $79,213 - $85,172 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
