Job Description We are seeking a Maintenance Support Officer to join our on-site team at the mine site in Gove, Nhulunbuy.
In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Manager and play a crucial part in coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and operational.
The position is residential, 5:2 Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day for local candidates to Nhulunbuy. Applicants not currently residing in Nhulunbuy will be required to relocate (housing is provided).
Duties will include, but are not limited to: Obtain quotes for Preventative and Corrective maintenance contractor worksRaising PR for contractor worksApply Temp Fixes in IFSFollow up PR's advice contractor upon approval and PO's numbersAttach completed reports after review from the Planner to the Work OrdersWeekly Planning Handover Meeting MinutesContact and booking of properties for maintenancePrevious Experience in Building Maintenance or Facilities AdministrationBase Experience with contractor and asset management systemsIntermediate knowledge of Asset managementPerform well under pressure, high level of attention to detail and quality focusStrong communication with clients & contractorsGeneral Administration Support Foster and maintain a strong rapport with staff, contractors, and managers at all levelsOther duties as directed by management.Who are we Looking For? Three years of professional experience in administration with demonstrated understanding of contract terms and conditions; understanding of performance measures, and contract administration. Experience in Building Maintenance is desirable. Relevant administration experience and/or relevant qualification or working towards it. Experience in facilities management or remote mine environment.
