About the role As the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you are integral to the success of V/Line's Asset Management Group.
You will oversee the maintenance and compliance of all buildings and grounds on the V/Line network, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both staff and customers.
Key Accountabilities include: ·        Maintain a comprehensive inventory of facilities assets using our Computerised Maintenance Management System.
·        Ensure compliance with technical maintenance plans and all relevant standards.
·        Organize and schedule maintenance works to minimize disruptions to operations.
·        Respond proactively to customer feedback and address deficiencies.
·        Assist in the administration of maintenance contracts and conduct performance audits.
·        Develop and maintain building maintenance budgets and schedules.
·        Supervise maintenance contracts and various contractors to ensure high-quality work.
·        Collaborate with other departments and project teams to support building works strategies.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following: ·        Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.
·        A minimum of 6 years in the Facilities Maintenance industry with management and delivery of small projects and asset maintenance systems and contractor payments experience.
·        Current Victorian Full Driver's licence.
·        Understanding of facilities maintenance procedures and practices.
·        Strong organizational and time management skills.
·        Proficiency in maintenance management software.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023 or Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2019).
Current employees are expected to remain in their role for a minimum of 12 months before applying to new positions within V/Line.
