Full time+ Higher Super, Great Bonus and Share OptionsWith 2023 sales and revenues of $67.1 billion, Caterpillar Inc. is the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.Caterpillar does business on every continent, principally operating through three primary segments – Construction Industries, Resource Industries and Energy & Transportation – and providing financing and related services through our Financial Products segment.About The Opportunity:Responsible for managing facilities personnel and service providers involved in facility design/fitouts, building and grounds maintenance, janitorial, security, food and offices services across a number of sites in Australia.Duties/Responsibilities:Manage the Facilities Teams located across AustraliaBuild relationships and create engagement with business unit stakeholders, landlords and with vendors/contractorsManage all matters relating to FM operations, risk, and compliance.Responsible for the FM team and contractors regarding their delivery of service.Ensure scheduled maintenance program is in place with IFM service provider(s).Monitor and manage FM contractor works and activities, to ensure all works are satisfactorily and safely completed to minimise disruption to business operations.Lead the procurement of facility services (Building Maintenance, Janitorial, Security, Food) and contracts for sites under FM management, in accordance with company procurement guidelines.Foster environmentally friendly practices and behaviours to support our sustainability strategy.Forecast and manage operating and capital budgets.Support Corporate Real Estate team to manage new and existing facility leases.Oversee Emergency Management Process in line with corporate security guidelinesManage EHS in line with corporate guidelines and ensure adherence to local statutory requirements.Manage capital project plans including estimates of critical path, budget and resources needed for target completion.Support BU growth plans to increase and adjust seating capacity, design and utilisation of space for new and existing buildings.Background/Experience:Experience in facilities management or demonstrated success with managing large complex operations or projectsExperience in project managementExperience in training or developing othersUniversity degree in related discipline, professional training in facilities management techniques as well as leading and facilitating meetings is highly desired.Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the organization.Strong team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strong consulting skills, ability to multitask effectively, strong analytical and organizational skills.Must have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on degree and professional industry working experience.
