The Role Reporting to the General Manager, Engineering and Optimisation, the Facilities Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring the optimal safety, reliability and cost efficiency of Squadron's assets.
The role will also be responsible for developing best practice engineering processes and providing engineering and reliability support to field teams. The team will also identify opportunities to improve asset performance through maintenance or project deliverables.
This position can be Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Canberra based.
Key responsibilities: Cultivate high-performing leadership by driving the development and execution of strategies that build and sustain a high-performing leadership team.Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability, ensuring alignment with Squadron Energy's purpose, vision, and values.Provide leadership to site on maintenance and engineering for each asset and drive organisational alignment on maintenance strategies.Accountable for resource forecasting/power curves, site engineering support for operating assets and projects and analysis and improvement engineering.Responsible for updating asset data and maintenance regimes including reliability centred maintenance, risked based inspection and critical spares.Oversee reliability and integrity of assets and asset engineering standards.Support for the O&M team in ensuring OEM undertaking effective maintenance to maximise availability and cost effectiveness.About you You will have:
Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringSignificant experience working in the energy or utilities sectors (a background in a process industry is advantageous for this role)Demonstrated abilities for developing processes, systems, data reporting and prioritisation in tools to enable to efficient operation of assets.Previous experience developing a Process Safety Framework and engineering systems to support field-based teams and assets.Strong understanding of implementing core engineering processes such as reliability centred maintenance, risked based inspection and root cause analysis.Knowledge of delivery of high-performance team programs and developing teams that work cross functionally across the organisation.Skilled in risk assessment, root causes and continuous improvement.What's on Offer In addition to a competitive remuneration package combined with attractive benefits, employees have the opportunity to access training and career development, and workplace flexibility.Squadron Energy also recognises the importance of diversity.
