About the Role Provide coordination and management of scheduled and ad-hoc building maintenance works, ensuring works are completed on-time, within-scope and budget, and to a high quality of workmanship, whilst ensuring continuity of property services with minimum disruption to business operations.Build strong delivery relationships and work closely with outsourced service providers, integrating their staff into the Facilities Management team, in order to manage the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services, ensuring an effective flow of information.Conduct regular and consistent site inspections to assess the overall facility condition, identify repairs, safety hazards and risks, support HSSEQ audits, quality assess completed works, identify and scope future operational project requirements, validate asset information and build relationships with local teams. Travel to Sydney Metropolitan and Regional Outer Metropolitan sites is required.Coordinate operational projects including scoping of works, compliant sourcing, contractor management, safety, stakeholder management and quality assessments and support the handover and commissioning of new sites added to the portfolio and the decommissioning of surplus sites.Provide technical subject matter advice, guidance, and support to the local teams, outsourced service providers and Senior Manager Facilities Services, to ensure optimal, suitable and cost-effective asset management focused maintenance solutions are consistently implemented. Ensure that safety measures and systems are implemented in accordance with relevant legislation, policy, and customer safety requirements. This role also has accountability for the maintenance spend, insurance claims and other associated costs within the designated portfolio.Act as a point of contact and escalation for stakeholders, local teams and landlords within the designated portfolio, manage site contacts lists and access requirements. Take the lead on managing site disruptions.Review supplier performance in collaboration with the AWS Contracts Management team, including monthly reporting, tracking KPIs, progress on key improvement initiatives, and managing risks and issues proactively.Demonstrate the five ways of leading behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people and communities for the greater good.Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Building Operations, Facilities Management and/or related building services trades, and/or +5-years of significant technical experience across a range of hard services (Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Civil).Demonstrated experience in delivering Facility Management services, in collaboration with outsourced service providers, across large and complex commercial and/or Industrial property portfolios.Demonstrated ability of providing a high quality, customer centric service offering.Demonstrated capability in budget and financial management. Sound analytical, reasoning, and conceptual skills with the ability to analyse information and develop solutions to complex problems.Demonstrated knowledge of statutory legislation and obligations imposing or affecting operations and building services.Sound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) for essential services and safety, and knowledge of emergency procedures for low and high-rise buildings.How to Apply Click APPLY or contact Gemma on ****** for a confidential discussion.
