Facilities AttendantProcessing, Zinc Concentrator – ServicesMount Isa, Queensland, AustraliaJob Ref. 41904 Mount Isa Mines are currently advertising exciting opportunities that exist within the Services team for Facilities Attendants. This physically demanding role will allow you to develop your skills as well as your working knowledge of the mining industry.
The facilities are primarily responsible for achieving high quality cleaning and laundry outcomes. To accomplish this, 7 manually loaded industrial washing machines rated up to 110kg and 11 gas-driven dryers are installed. This is a residential role in Mount Isa, working a 7 on / 7 off 12-hour day shift roster.
Your day to day duties will include: Servicing 19 change houses across the lease including collection, laundering, and returning of approximately 5000 items per day.Role modelling safe behaviours and providing leadership to crew members.Being adaptable to changing work situations and having an ability to take initiative when required.Completing tasks assigned by Supervisor and leading hand.Operation of 2.5 tonne forklift and 7 tonne Pantech trucks.The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: Excellent time management skills, a flexible attitude, and sound work ethic.Strong customer focus with high attention to detail.Understanding of workplace OH&S.Prior experience working in a laundry environment or industry would be advantageous.A current manual driver's license or ability to obtain.Team player with the ability to multitask.Hold a MR license or ability to obtain.Hold a High-risk Forklift license or the ability to obtain.For more details on this role please contact: Bec McManus Applications close: 8:00am Wednesday 20th November 2024 How to apply:Start your application by clicking the "begin" button. #J-18808-Ljbffr
