We are currently seeking to recruit a 16 hr Facilities Assistant to join our team in Broadford Hospital. This post will be based in Broadford Hospital; however, the successful applicant will be required to cover Portree Hospital and all NHS Sites in the local geographical area, including Health Centres if required. A fleet vehicle is available for travelling to sites. A full clean driving licence is required.
This post is a part-time vacancy, suitable for candidates who are available to work 2 x 8 hour shifts, 4 x 4 hour shifts or a variation of shifts between the hours of 0700 and 2000 a week, working variable shifts from Monday to Sunday. Working hours may be outwith clinic hours, between 0700 and 0900 or 1700-1900 and would also suit candidates who would like to job share.
The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness in line with local infection control policies and procedures. Catering duties include regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches, and snacks. Meeting specified cleaning schedules, and promoting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the environment are key responsibilities. Applicants should hold a full, clean driving licence.
