Facilities Assistant

Laucke Flour Mills is a family-owned business and the market-leading manufacturer of specialty flours and mixes for trade, food service, and home. We mill both conventional and certified organic wheat, rye, spelt, and triticale grains, with a special focus on human health and the unique properties of individual grain varieties.
About the Role:We are seeking a person who will manage maintenance duties associated with all buildings and facilities on site, ensuring they are kept to an excellent standard at all times.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for performing site ground maintenance and pest control as required while assisting the Engineering team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated person who can:
Ensure buildings and the site are maintained to the appropriate standard. This includes cleaning, mowing, weed spraying, waste bin management, and general tasks associated with operating a clean and hygienic site.Ensure site security fencing is maintained.Ensure all records and schedules are maintained.Conduct minor repairs as needed.Perform pickups and deliveries using the company vehicle.Work autonomously.Work collaboratively with the Engineering team and others to achieve business outcomes.Demonstrated Ability:The successful applicants must have or be willing to obtain the following skills:
Chemical Handling Certificate.Intermediate level of computer skills.Able to drive a manual vehicle.This position is located in Bridgewater on Loddon, 30km West of Bendigo, Victoria.
