About the Organisation:
Youngcare is a national not-for-profit revolutionising the way young people with complex and permanent physical disabilities live – with freedom, dignity and choice. Too many young Australians with physical disabilities are being left behind, in inappropriate housing, like aged care. Everyone deserves to live a young life, with choice, dignity and independence.
Youngcare develops aspirational Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), advocates for much-needed policy change, delivers vital grants programs, and provides education, advice and pathways through our free support service.?
Young people with complex and permanent physical disabilities deserve the freedom to choose where they live, who they live with and how they live their lives. It's a freedom we all deserve, which is why it's up to all of us to make sure it happens.
