Facilities Manager and Engineer - Wellness Retreat, Mornington Peninsula
An esteemed wellness retreat on the Mornington Peninsula seeks an Engineer Professional to oversee all maintenance and engineering operations, ensuring exemplary standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct management of maintenance and engineering functions, including daily operations and preventive maintenance programs.
Supervise a team of over 10 maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient scheduling and task execution.
Maintain and repair machinery, manage inventory, and coordinate with third-party contractors and local authorities.
Oversight of electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
Responsible for testing and maintaining pools and water features to meet high-quality and safety standards.
Supervision of water technicians and regular water testing protocols.
Budget management, cost control implementation, and efficient resource allocation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within hospitality, spa, or resort environments, with expertise in spa and water treatment systems.
Strong leadership and organisational skills, adept at managing large-scale maintenance operations.
Expertise in electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as pool and water feature maintenance.
Proficiency in budget management and cost control strategies.
Proactive problem-solving approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Package:
Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 per annum
