To support our growth plans we are currently seeking to appoint new team members to work in our dynamic environment.The OpportunityHeliMods are seeking a Facilities and Infrastructure Manager to join our growing team! The Facilities and Infrastructure Manager has both operational strategic accountabilities to ensure the compliant, efficient and effective management of sites related to HeliMods and related group entities.The role is responsible for overseeing facilities operations, workplace health and safety, maintenance and repairs, incident responses, vehicle fleet and building works.The role works closely with other enterprise roles and reports directly to the Managing Director.DutiesFacilities Management:Coordinate the operation and maintenance of company facilities to meet required standards.Oversee programs of planned infrastructure works or facilities upgrades.Coordinate internal teams and external contractors for facility maintenance and improvements and compliance activities.Manage facilities related budgets, procurement activities and negotiate supplier contracts.Coordinate with project and enterprise teams to inform elements of external and internal projects.Manage and coordinate sub-leases and tenants.Health and Safety:Maintain compliance with all required workplace health and safety standards and legislation.Prepare and maintain risk assessments to identify potential hazards.Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies and coordinate audits if required.Training and Education:Deliver facilities inductions for new employees.Facilitate workplace training programs for employees.Coordinate with external training providers where appropriate to arrange training.Promote awareness of health and safety best practices throughout the organisation.Incident response and management:Maintain emergency response plans and procedures including emergency evacuation.Respond to or coordinate the responses to incidents and emergencies.Investigate workplace incidents and accidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions.Maintain records of incidents and track trends to identify areas for improvement.Identify opportunities for improving workplace safety and facility management practices.Stay updated with the latest developments in health and safety regulations and best practices.Skills, Experience and QualificationsMinimum 5 years' experience on managing commercial facilities, infrastructure or in a construction management role with a strong technical background.Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and WHS legislation relating to facilities operations.Knowledge of facilities services, maintenance processes, and best practices.Strong commercial awareness including an ability to negotiate terms and contracts.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate to a wide range of people and foster positive relationships.What we need for you to proceedTo submit a full application, please include a cover letter, CV and Academic TranscriptInherent RequirementsDoes not have an existing criminal convictionDue to the nature and privilege of information, and in accordance with Australian Standards for Workforce Screening (ISO4811-2022), it is an inherent requirement that a security clearance and police check are obtained prior to employment
