Work for a global and expanding employer, managing a national portfolio Your new company Due to exponential growth, our client is a global employer who's seeking to add an experienced Facilities and Asset Manager to join their team in Australia. As a Facilities and Asset Manager, you'll oversee the safety, functionality, and performance of facilities and assets, nationwide. Your new role Facilities Management: Conduct safety inspections. Coordinate maintenance and repairs. Manage building systems. Oversee janitorial services. Asset Management: Develop strategies. Optimise asset performance. Plan maintenance schedules. Monitor equipment. Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts. Evaluate vendor performance. Coordinate work orders. Budget Oversight: Assist in budget preparation. Monitor expenses. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in facilities or asset management operations, industry best practice, building codes, and legislative requirements relating to facilities management. Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications are desired, but not essential. Strong knowledge of building systems. Excellent communication skills.
