Suffolk Mind's mission is to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health, and to assist with this we are looking to recruit a Facilitator – WAVES.

Our WAVES service is for those with a diagnosis of or traits of Borderline Personality Disorder, and we are looking to recruit a part-time Facilitator to join our team in our two locations providing emotional and practical support which will enable service users to meet their emotional needs and achieve personal growth.

You will need to facilitate group sessions, provide one-to-ones, and be a positive face across the service.

18.5 hours per week Ipswich (with occasional travel to Felixstowe) Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Thursdays 9.30 am to 1.12 pm (hybrid working option) Key requirements for this role: Experience of working with people with personality disorders The ability to manage your own administration and to be able to use a computer, particularly word processing packages, and to maintain effective administrative systems The ability to communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person, sometimes over sensitive and/or complex issues A commitment to service user involvement and empowerment Why work for us? 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays – rising to 30 days with length of service (pro-rata) Option to buy and sell annual leave Health and dental care insurance plan Plus, internal wellbeing courses, opportunities for training, excellent support and job satisfaction.
