Facial Prosthetist - Oral & Maxillofacial UnitProvide dental and facial prosthetics and appliances of a complex and diverse nature using high level technical skills for patients and medical officers of the RBWH Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Unit.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Perform a range of technical tasks to consistently high standards including the creation of complex dental and facial prosthetics and orthotics to a consistently high standard for maxillofacial patients.Collaborate and consult with team members regarding the technical components of patient treatment planning and care.Evaluate individual work performance and participate in staff development and training programs.Actively participate in the Performance Appraisal and Development (PAD) process and engage in continuous learning and workplace improvement and innovation activities.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
