Facade Draftsperson

Essential Skills: Minimum 5 years' experience in shop drawing commercial glazing systems.
Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021 2D or later.
Competent in current Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams) Suite and PDF-XChange Editor (or similar software).
Able to extract relevant specifics from architectural and structural drawings.
Adept in communicating clearly and accurately with other team members.
Capable of following standard written drawing procedures and utilizing standard detail libraries.

Advantageous Skills: Understand glazing specifications / schedules / reports.
Working experience of multiple / various glazing systems.
Experience in preparing fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of glazing system performances - thermal, acoustic and water penetration.
Familiar with 3D AutoCAD, Solidworks or Sketch Up.

A Successful Candidate Must Have: Applicant must submit example sets of shop drawings previously prepared for review.
Drawing sets to encompass general notes, window schedules, set out and/or key plans and sectional details.

Work Setup: Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm | Dayshift Onsite (Philexcel, Clark)
