Global Market Leader in Forklifts & Material Handling EquipmentGreat workplace cultureIndustry competitive rates and allowancesAbout the Role Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this position is responsible for carrying out a range of fabrication, repair, and maintenance activities to customers' forklifts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Fabrication of steel components for material handling applications;Modification of forklifts and other material handling equipment;General fabrication and assembly of ancillary items for material handling applications;Repair of forklifts and other material handling equipment using metal-work techniques;Skills and Experience: Relevant trade qualification;Strong welding competencies using MIG, TIG, Arc, and Oxy-Acetylene;Demonstrated experience in a similar fabrication or engineering role;Demonstrated machine-shop experience using lathes, milling machines, press-brake, etc.
;Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings;Competent in the use of hand and power tools;Forklift licence preferred but not essential;Full understanding of WHS, with a commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean workstation;Sound communication skills;Strong ability to work as part of a team;Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task;Our Commitment: TMHA is committed to the ongoing growth and development of its employees.
