We are seeking a team-focused Fabrication Supervisor to join a busy workshop located in the Eastern Suburbs.
As an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of large vehicles for the mining industry, this diverse role offers a balance of strong team leadership and hands-on support.
This position comes with a competitive hourly rate based on experience, as well as a company vehicle and tools of the trade.
Working Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, you will be responsible for meeting manufacturing deadlines while maintaining stringent quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of fabricators, welders, and trade assistants.Ensure all safety standards and protocols are adhered to.Oversee production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.Maintain high-quality standards and ensure product compliance.Provide training, guidance, and support to apprentices and team members.Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.Key Requirements: Certificate III in Fabrication.Proven leadership experience in a fabrication or similar environment.Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and methodologies.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Desirable tickets: Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Forklift, EWP, Overhead Crane (DG/RB/RI), and First Aid.This is a secure, long-term opportunity in a family-friendly and supportive work environment.
