Fabrication Quality Coordinator

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Fabrication Quality Coordinator will monitor and document the quality of incoming and outgoing materials and products both before, during, and after fabrication. Tasks include undertaking continuous inspection during the manufacturing process, conducting tests, taking and analyzing measurements, and maintaining quality documentation including final acceptance sign-off. The Fabrication Quality Coordinator will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating welds in strict accordance with specified inspection procedures, standards, codes, and drawings. Inspecting and assessing the quality of welding work and ensuring welds are safe and ready to function as part of the component. In addition, the Fabrication Quality Coordinator will ensure that measuring, testing, and welding equipment used in the fabrication department is operating accurately.
