If you are a self-motivated individual with a "go getter" attitude then apply now!Job Role: Fabrication ManagerLocation: YatalaSalary: Up to $120,000 (Open for discussion based on experience)Employment Type: Full Time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate workshop staff, ensuring all work is completed on time and meets safety and quality standards.Lead fabrication, assembly, and maintenance.Oversee daily operations of the workshop, including workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation.Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards and complies with Australian safety regulations.Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that materials and tools are available for all projects.Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during workshop operations.Implement and uphold health and safety protocols, including conducting regular safety audits and training for workshop personnel.Assist in planning and coordinating major projects, including budgeting, timelines, and resource needs.Requirements:Trade Qualification: Qualified Boilermaker (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent).Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fabrication workshop environment, with at least 2 years ideally in a supervisory or team leader role; however, also open to someone with the right motivations and desire to step up in a role with more responsibility.Technical Skills: Proficient in welding and fabrication.Self Starter: Someone who can make things happen and get across the line.
