About the role:
Assisting the team with the preparation of buy side and sell side due diligence analysis including workbook construction, financial analysis, review data room content, assisting with report writing on due diligence assignments.
Providing transaction support for the M&A team including assistance with data room construction on sell side engagements, assistance with Q&A activity, support in various meetings with various stakeholders, assistance with financial analysis to support the transaction and broader assistance to the sell side or buy side team.
Assistance with service line special projects including the development of new tools and solutions to aid with the service line engagements.
Preparation of purpose-built financial models for use in transaction analysis, due diligence, and management reporting.
Preparation of blogs and case studies to drive service line growth.
Assisting with other Forvis Mazars Business lines as workflow demands across various teams.
Assisting with preparation of proposals and engagement letters for new clients.
About you:
Bachelor of Business in Finance, Commerce and or Accounting.
1-2 years' experience in professional services, banking, or consultancy services.
Developed understanding of financial statements, including the drivers behind P&L statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with peers and leaders alike.
Excellent written skills with the ability to draft professional documents and reports.
Excellent analytical and interpretation skills.
Excellent time management skills and evidenced ability to manage multiple engagements.
Strong attention to detail.
